This semi-detached cottage is set on the outskirts of the village of Beckermet, close to the seaside resort of St Bees in the Lake District and sleeps nine people in three bedrooms.
Longcliffe is a semi-detached cottage situated on the edge of the village of Beckermet, close to Whitehaven in the Lake District. This cottage sleeps upto nine people and has three bedrooms, consisting of one ground floor double one family room with a double and children's bunk beds and another family room with three single beds, as well as a ground floor family bathroom and a family shower room. The rest of the cottage is made up of a fitted kitchen, dining room, sitting room and a summer room. Outside the cottage there is a large enclosed lawned garden with patio, furniture and BBQ, and off road parking for 3 cars. Longcliffe is close to many attractions, which will suit all tastes all year round.

Gas central heating with gas fire in the sitting room. Gas cooker, microwave, slow cooker, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, video, DVD, CD, WiFi, selection of books, maps, videos and games. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cots, highchairs and stairgates available. Off road parking for 3 cars. Shed for bike storage. Large enclosed lawned garden and patio with furniture and BBQ. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Grazing for horses by arrangement with owner. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and two pubs 5 mins walk. Note: The front and back doors have grab rails fitted and the ground floor bathroom has grab rails and a shower seat. Note: Max. 7 adults, and 2 children due to the children's bunk beds. Note: 4pm arrival. |

For the historically minded, Cumbria offers a wealth of Celtic monuments, Roman remains, stately homes and ruined abbeys. Carlisle still has some of its ancient walls standing, as well as a Norman castle, and the western part of Hadrian’s Wall is nearby. Other places of interest include Penrith, with its castle and remarkably unchanged market square; Keswick, which was once the centre of pencil manufacturing; the busy market town of Kendal and Cockermouth, Wordsworth’s birthplace.
